Christmas Eve!

Sorry it took so long to get these up - but we have been a little crazy and the video below just didn't want to work for us - but Adam made it work! :)

So, here's what we did on Christmas Eve:

First Adam and I had Christmas at our house:

We then went to Murrieta and saw the Ward family:

Then we went to church for Christmas Eve service, where I sang in the choir, Adam played the Cello and Evangeline had "Sarah Hair":

We then made our way to my parents house to get our Christmas PJ's and to go visit the Zanin house:

Then we went to this house in Murrieta that is kind of "famous" for being very well decorated (to say the least). YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS! It's rather amazing!

I was rather mesmerized, and had a hard time pulling my eyes away, even for a picture!

and PS, if you didn't notice, I cut all my hair off.

Vacations Rock (but they don't include the internet)!

So, to all 4 of our readers - sorry we haven't posted in so long - but the Internet is something we do not have at home and being that I got the last week off (while still getting paid - RAD) we couldn't share all our holiday fun with you! so here it goes:

Went to the Pepper Tree Christmas Party on the 19th - so so so so good to see those people. I really miss it, especially this one, her name is Jessica.

On the 21st Adam and I went to Raul and Shayne's Christmas party were there the weirdest ornaments in the world were exchanged, here are just a few examples:
And then the most random thing ever, after church in the 22nd we went by a bike sale and I got a new bike! YAY!!!

Disneyland @ Christmas Time!

So, after church on Sunday, Adam and I went to lunch with Peter and Marin, then met our neighbor's Chris and Arlene and took them some Zucchini Bread, then took an hour nap and then it was time for the Disneyland! Really is there any place else to be during Christmas time?! It's just stinking rad!

After seeing the lights and having a little dinner, I called Jen because I had heard her and some other ladies were going to be at Disneyland too - and they were! So we had a great time riding around with them. The ladies also introduced Adam and I to a wonderful little thing they called "Fritter Balls" and Jen had some fancy French word for them, but I can't remember it now - anyways, they were good :)

Last but not least, as we were heading out Adam and I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture with the "E" in California (you know - since we are the Elwer's and all)!!!

Evangeline's Christmas Play!

Unfortunately I have not gotten the pictures to complete that last post with the cool Hanukkah picture - but as soon as I do - I'll put it up here.

Anyways, this last Saturday, Adam and I went to see Evangeline's Christmas Play in Hemet. We went last year and it was just as fabulous - this church can sure put on a show! Below is a picture of Evangeline playing the sick little girl who just got out of the hospital - it was kind of sad, but she did a really, really good job! I'm including this picture - first because we are cute and second - I want you all to see the stage and lights in the background - this place was so crazy inside - at two different points in the performance it started snowing (just like at Disneyland)!

Weekend of Christmas (and Hanukkah)!

So, this last weekend was going to be our Christmas kick off including a trip to Disneyland but I have been rather under the weather and Disneyland got kicked to the curb. Friday was however replaced with a lovely day of homemade chili and movie's with Adam and Katie so the day was good, maybe just not as Christmas-y as I had expected.

Saturday, however, was a blast! Adam and I were invited to a Christmas party at Maggie, Hillary, Becky and Stefanie's house in Temecula. Now, don't get me wrong, I was not expecting to have a bad time, but I was really surprised at just how much fun I really did have! It was a great way to start December!
(Just suggesting that Adam button one more button)
(Cheesey prom picture!)

(Becky and I being friends, and Katie being mad about it!)
Then on Sunday, our church had their annual Ladies Dessert Night and I hosted a table! Due to the fact that I have all blue china and a menorah I decided to make a Hanukkah table - and I really loved it!
Every person at my table got their own dreidal and gelt along with directions on how to play this fabulous little game! Adam didn't serve my table because he was doing sound with Cory but our friend Christian did, and he did such a good job! So, all that to say, I'm in the Holiday spirit and very much enjoying myself!
