I never thought I would make it this far again ... but apparently I am a crock pot and not a microwave when it comes to making babies!
I made this last week in a hopes that I would not have the chance to add a 41 week picture ...
But now I guess I need to add this one {from this morning} too!
Things are good ... my sleep is not great, but really it's not horrible either! Adam and Bennett and I are keeping busy. Bennett found a gift our friends brought for the baby and while we were all out in the living room talking and eating and celebrating the first night of Hanukkah together, he was in our room having a great time too! ha ha! Silly boy!
And then there is Adam ... it's sooooo wonderful to have him home for these last few days before the baby comes! We are getting projects done and just enjoying each other's company before the sleep depravation and newborn craziness sets in! I love this man! He makes me laugh!
{He's never home when I take my "week pictures" I guess he has felt left out all these past 41 weeks ... good thing he was here for what is hopefully the last "week picture"}

Hanukkah 2009!
We started a new tradition this year and I really hope we continue with it for may years to come! Instead of giving little gifts to each other for 8 days, Adam and I decided to have people over for 8 days! So for eight nights in a row we had different people over to share a meal and play a game (or just sit around and talk... it differed due to personalities and age of children). We didn't take many pictures but I think that is just proof of how great our evenings were - we just plain forgot to pull the camera out due to all the fun!
Michael and Becky came on the 6th night and they are always up for music so Bennett was more than happy to play with them after he had had a very messy dinner and lost his shirt!

On the last night Bennett and Adam played and played and played! If you would like to see Baby Mozart at work make sure to watch the videos!

Weekend of Christmas (and Hanukkah)!
So, this last weekend was going to be our Christmas kick off including a trip to Disneyland but I have been rather under the weather and Disneyland got kicked to the curb. Friday was however replaced with a lovely day of homemade chili and movie's with Adam and Katie so the day was good, maybe just not as Christmas-y as I had expected.
(Just suggesting that Adam button one more button)

(Cheesey prom picture!)

(Becky and I being friends, and Katie being mad about it!)
Then on Sunday, our church had their annual Ladies Dessert Night and I hosted a table! Due to the fact that I have all blue china and a menorah I decided to make a Hanukkah table - and I really loved it!
Every person at my table got their own dreidal and gelt along with directions on how to play this fabulous little game! Adam didn't serve my table because he was doing sound with Cory but our friend Christian did, and he did such a good job! So, all that to say, I'm in the Holiday spirit and very much enjoying myself!
Saturday, however, was a blast! Adam and I were invited to a Christmas party at Maggie, Hillary, Becky and Stefanie's house in Temecula. Now, don't get me wrong, I was not expecting to have a bad time, but I was really surprised at just how much fun I really did have! It was a great way to start December!
