We are home!

So all three of us are officially home and resting. We are not opposed to visitors, we just like phone calls before :)

Here's some highlights from the past couple days:




For about 10 minutes or so Bennett was holding his pacifier in with one hand and rubbing the back of his head with the other hand - already knows how to keep himself happy and content - we're pretty sure he's a genius!
Bennett loves all his grandparents very much!

He was 8lbs and 10oz and 20 and 3/4 inches long

42 weeks pregnant!

I honestly never thought I would be pregnant this long, but now that I'm here, it's not that bad! I'm moving slower than I have been and actaully took a whole day off yesterday - I didn't even check my email or facebook! So, today I'm going to get a late breakfast with my mom at my favorite breakfast place and hopefully go into labor! :) We shall see... keep praying!

Valentine's and President's Day Weekend

This weekend my Uncle Tim was down and it just so happened to be his birthday while he was here too! On Saturday we all went down to Calsbad and shopped around for the afternoon. He's Tim trying on some fabulous shades at the Fossil store.

After shopping Tim got to pick where we ate lunch so we crossed the street and went to Islands. Here's the view around our very squished table:

Tim was really hoping I would have the baby while he was here - but alas it did not happen - Sorry Tim!

On Monday Jen came down with the original intention of meeting the baby, but it just turned into lunch with Adam and I. It was great to see her and we all had a really good time talking together. Here's Jen and I out side of the restaurant we went to:

So two times this weekend we had visitors who were expecting to meet the baby and their plans were foiled! Good thing they love us enough to let it slide and hopefully they will come back once the baby finally comes! 

41 weeks Pregnant!

Yes, it's true - I am still pregnant but all is well!

Here's the baby's room just sitting and waiting for the baby to come home:

Today my Dr. scheduled me for a Non-Stress Test to make sure all was still well with the baby. It took a long time, especially when the ultra-sound lady didn't tell the nurse she was done with us but whatever, we were fine, Adam was just hungry so he was really ready to go! So here I am all hooked up:

And last but not least, here's my belly  - again, make-up has lost all importance in my life!

Yep, it's true! I hope you didn't think the lack of blogging was because we were having the baby!

The baby will come when it comes - but only God knows when that will be!

Here's me at my mom's house on friday, Feb. 6th, my due date! (just a picture of glowing motherhood! I promise I did take a shower - but I didn't blow dry or put any make-up on, it's something that just doesn't feel very important right now)

It's Alive!

So, just in case you were wondering what I do at night when I'm not sleeping, here I am this morning laying on the couch watching the baby.  You can't see all the movement because the baby is also pushing against the couch too - but it's still pretty good!
