A blog from Bennett....

Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update on life. Things have been going pretty well and I am really starting to love life!

I really love my dad! When he comes home I follow him with my eyes around the room until he comes to get me! Here's a picture of us checking my dad's email, I'm a pretty good helper!

Here's a picture of me and mom hanging out at 2 am. We have a good time together, sometimes she reads to me (I am currently listening to my mom read Emma while she is feeding me) and sometimes she sings to me and sometimes we just stay up and talk! My mom's not a very good conversationalist at 2am but it's okay, I make up for the both of us if she doesn't feel like talking!

The other night I was just having a hard time, but I was finally able to fall asleep when I could hold on to my mom's hand with both of my hands so I knew she wouldn't leave me!

My mom and Grandma let Tony come smell me the other day. But just for a second because Tony wanted to lick me too - and they were not cool with that.
And these last few pictures my mom told me to put on here because she thinks I'm the cutest little boy ever!

So, that's pretty much all for now, I think I'm gonna go take a nap now, bye!

Bennett was up "celebrating" his first holiday all night so he's already having a St. Patrick's Day nap! 

In the past week...

Bennett finally got to meet his "Tio Pepe" (aka: Uncle Aaron) who has been living in Mexico . Bennett liked him so much the he spit up all down his shirt shortly after this picture was taken - I'm glad they bonded to well! This last Sunday was Bennett's first time going to church! Pastor Gary introduced him to everyone and then prayed  a blessing over him. Bennett was so happy and comfortable with Gary that he decided to pee on him! And Gary preached with a big wet spot on his shirt! Oh Bennett...

Bennett has a really cute little duck outfit that came with these "socks" but we now call them his duck boots and have grown to love the duck boots very much!

what we have been doing lately...

Our first night home from the hospital and we learn that Bennett sleeps like his dad! We have had many visitors who want to come meet Bennett - and a few of those visitors we have have remembered to take pictures of:

Scott and Jen We went to Bennett's first doctor's appointment. For the occasion Bennett sported his Ralph Lauren Polo onesie! The Dr. said that Bennett was doing great (He was already back up to his birth weight after 5 days) and that he didn't need to see him again until he was 2 months old!

Grammie has come over almost everyday, this day she brought Corduroy to share, you can tell Bennett really enjoyed it! :)

We went to the mall for the first time!

On our way out, Bennett decided to do his Napoleon impersonation! (proof he already loves Evangeline!)
