Tradition!

So for the past two years (this year making 3) Adam and I have gone and seen a play and this year was fantastic! We went and saw Fiddler on the Roof at the Pantages in Hollywood. The lead guy (Tevya) was played by the same man who played the roll in the movie (Topal) and he was amazing - 75 years old and amazing!

We of course do not have the money for theater tickets right now but my parents got Adam 2 tickets for his birthday and he was kind enough to bring me along! My brother Brian and his girlfriend Crystal-Lee came with us too and we had a great time!

We had planned to go to an Irish pub that was close to the theater for dinner but when we got there we couldn't find it, but in our driving round the streets of Hollywood we happened upon a little Brazilian restaurant names Bossa Nova and it was AMAZING!

Adam and I have this running game when we go out to see who can order the better meal (I know, we're weird) and usually we agree on who the winner was (which is usually me) but this place was a first for us... we both thought the we won! We both tried each other's meals and we both like the one we ordered the best! So I guess we both won, which is the way I think it's supposed to be, we actually LOVED the food we ordered - success!

We had such a good time at dinner we stayed longer than we should have and made it to the theater with 10 minutes to spare! As we were quickly walking from the car I went ahead a bit, and said "We're going to see Fiddler, act Jewish!" and then turned around and took a picture, this is what I got:
So my theory is that Brian thought I said "We're going to see Santa act like an elf" because there is no other explanation for his hilarious face in this picture! I love it!
During intermission we noticed the funniest sign in the lobby advertising "Matchmaker Night" sponsored by "Jdate" but we had to hurry back to our seats but knew we wanted to further inspect the sign after. Upon doing so we noticed the fact the the "Jdate" logo was a Star of Davis with a heart in it! We thought that it was rather amazing and decided to take pictures with the sign!
Adam and I stood next to each other because we were already "matched"
And of course we had to take a picture with the play sign out front and since we went on opening night I stood so that you could see the date we went on :)

I don't know if there are any tickets left but if you have a chance you really should go see this, it was amazing and we sat in the $35 seats and it was still fantastic - seriously, it might be the best play I have ever seen! (Thanks mom and dad for sending us!)
